Pattaya Teens Brawl, Leaving One Person Seriously Injured

Pattaya —

A brawl involving several teenagers in Pattaya took place in the early hours of Sunday, May 19th, leaving an 18-year-old teenager seriously wounded.

The incident occurred on the Second Road in South Pattaya around 5:06 AM. Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan rescue workers and Pattaya police rushed to the scene after receiving the report.

At the scene, authorities found Mr. Thanaphat Singthom, 18, injured with a split eyebrow on the left side, a deep wound on his neck, and abrasions on his body. Blood was smeared on his clothes. Rescue workers provided first aid before transporting him to a local hospital.

Mr. Warat Rerkphichit, 18, a friend of Thanaphat, told The Pattaya News that the attackers came in a group of allegedly more than 50 people and attacked his friend. However, he did not know the reason. His friend was also drunk, and Mr. Warat suspected that his friend may have been involved in a previous argument that led the group of teenagers to attack him for revenge.

Local residents reported seeing a motorcycle with two people riding it, one of whom was injured. The injured person then fell off the motorcycle, causing shock to everyone in the area. Pattaya police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
