Sri Racha house burglar steals 15,000 wrist watch in broad daylight while house owner is upstairs

Sri Racha —

A local house owner reported a house burglar who sneaked into her house in broad daylight this past weekend and stole her 15,000 baht wrist watch while she was upstairs.

Yesterday, May 9th, Mrs. Kasama Wachirabunthoon, 31, who lives in a three-storey building, told TPN reporters that a burglar crept into her house at 10.00 a.m. on the 7th of May and stole a lot of her properties including a 15,000 baht wrist watch. At the time of the crime, she said that she forgot to lock her front gate and was relaxing upstairs when she heard a loud bang that sounded like it was from her cupboard and immediately ran downstairs. However, all she saw was the back of the suspect who fled on a motorcycle.

According to the security footage, the suspect drove a black Honda Scooby.

Mrs. Kasama told TPN reporters that she was currently struggling from an economic downturn and asked the thief to return her properties. She warned everyone to lock the door and always stayed vigilant. Nong Kham police are pursuing the suspect.
