The Prime Minister has also expressed his condolences over those injured and who had lost their lives and stated authorities would get to the bottom of the incident. The explosion was near an elementary school and sent children running for cover. The blast could be seen and felt kilometers away.

So far, authorities believe built up pressure in the pipeline caused the blast but the incident is still under investigation. An exact estimate of the amount of property damage done is also being assessed.
