Thailand reaches thirty full days without any confirmed locally spread cases of Covid-19

Bangkok-

Editors Note: This will be the last day of our daily update article for Covid-19 cases in Thailand unless there is a significant development, such as a locally spread case or death. We will continue to report newsworthy changes such as rules and regulations being lifted or reinforced and information relating to borders, international travel, tourism, etc.

At a daily press conference in Bangkok led by Dr. Taweesin Visanuyothin, the spokesperson for the Covid-19 Center for Situation Administration, an announcement was made that Thailand has gone thirty days in a row, an entire month, without a single confirmed and recorded locally spread case of the Covid-19 Coronavirus.

There was one new imported case, from the Philippines.  They are in state quarantine and did not get exposed to the general population.

Thailand currently has the following statistics:

3,157 people infected with the virus since the start of the infection (+1)

3,026 discharged from hospital, with three released overnight.

73 still in hospital under treatment for the virus

58 dead since the start of the infection.
