Young woman seriously injured when her motorbike collides with car on Pattaya Highway

Pattaya-

At 12:30 AM this morning on Sukhimwit Road near the highway police station a young woman on a Honda msx motorbike suffered serious injuries after colliding with a Toyota Vios.

The woman, who was not wearing a helmet and had no identification on her, was found by rescue workers from Pattaya City Hospital unconscious in a pool of blood in serious condition. She was taken to the hospital nearby. She appears to be about thirty years old.

The driver of the Vios, Mr. Chatchon Nidmanop, 26, was not injured in the accident and gave a statement to the police and The Pattaya News.

He stated the woman on the motorbike came out of a side street at high speed and hit his vehicle, flying off the windshield in the process. He said he had no time to slow or stop due to her speed.

Police are investigating the incident however and will review CCTV.
