Media and local residents complain about taxis and baht busses blocking traffic near Walking Street

The Pattaya press association took this video last evening to highlight the problems with taxis and baht busses stopping in no parking zones near Walking Street to let off and on and wait for passengers.

As the area is currently under construction and one lane is closed for a drainage project, the remaining lanes are limited. Despite signs and markings telling taxis not to stop in this area right near Walking Street, vehicles continue to do so, which causes the road to go to one lane and significant traffic backup.

After several complaints this video and photos were taken and hopes are that the relevant organizations will enforce parking, stopping and waiting for passengers at this busy area.
