Young driver seriously injured in speed-related Banglamung motorbike accident

Banglamung, Chonburi-

A young male driver has sustained serious injuries after losing control of his motorbike at a curve in Banglamung last night (January 17th).

The Huayyai Police were notified of the accident at 11:00 P.M. on Ror Yor 2015 Road (Pad Plang curve) in Khao Maikaew.

Emergency responders and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find a damaged Honda CB 150 cc on the road.

The driver, Mr. Somphon Duangkam, 21, had sustained serious injuries and was not wearing a protective motorbike helmet. He was rushed to a local hospital for medical assistance.

Local residents nearby told The Pattaya News that they saw Somphon had lost control at a fairly tight curve which he approached at high speed. This particular curve has had multiple accidents according to residents in the area, nearly all speed-related. Somphon remains in a local hospital as of press time.
