Thief breaks car window before stealing items worth 100,000K baht in Banglamung

Banglamung, Chonburi-

Police are hunting for a thief who broke a car window before speeding away with items worth more than 100,000 baht in Banglamung last night (January 17th).

Lieutenant Nattachai Eangpaying from the Nongprue police was notified of the incident at 10:00 P.M. on a road near the Mapprachan reservoir in Nongprue.

Police and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find Mr. Korradon Tanpokarangrong, 22, the sedan owner.

He explained to Nongprue police, “I had just finished recording a music video with friends nearby at the reservoir.”

“I kept expensive equipment I use for work inside my car, including a Canon 5D Mark 3 with three Canon lenses and a MacBook. The total worth of the items is more than 100,000 baht.”

“Just five minutes after finishing the music video I saw someone near my vehicle who fled before I discovered that my car’s glass window was broken. I then discovered the theft and called police.” Korradon concluded.

Nongprue police told reporters they are hunting for the suspect to face legal action. They hope to utilize CCTV in the area to identify the suspect.
