Homeless man allegedly stabbed by other homeless man in Chonburi

A homeless man has sustained serious injuries from stab wounds after allegedly being attacked by another homeless man who claimed that he has been threatened for money from the victim in Mueang Chonburi earlier this week.

The Mueang Chonburi Police were notified of the incident at 9:00 PM on Wednesday (November 11th) in the Makham Yong sub-district.

Emergency responders and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find an unidentified injured man aged around 50.

Stab wounds were found on his chest and his arms were covered with blood. He was taken to a local hospital for medical assistance.

Police arrested the suspect, Mr. Mondop Padungchart, 46, who is homeless. He claimed to police, “The injured man, who is also homeless, was threatening me for money. I refused to give him any. He was going to attack me before I used a small box cutter to fight back.”

However, police are continuing their investigation for further potential legal action.
