Five injured as minivan crashes into an ambulance and sedan in Sri Racha

Sri Racha –
Five people have sustained injuries after a minivan crashed into an ambulance and a sedan in Laem Chabang today while attempting to avoid large five gallon bottles of water that were lying on the road.

The Laem Chabang Police was notified of the accident at 3PM on Sukhumwit Road.

Police and emergency responders rushed to the scene to find a damaged sedan, an ambulance and a minivan on the road.

Five passengers in the minivan have sustained injuries. They were taken to a local hospital. Nearby, police found five gallons of bottled water lying on the road. The ambulance and sedan driver were not injured.

The minivan driver, 33 year old Sutat Thongdee, told the news media he saw many cars were avoiding a collision with the water gallon bottles on the road.

He was, however, unable to stop the collision. His minivan lost control and crashed into the ambulance and then skidded into another vehicle.

Police are continuing their investigation as well as to identify who dropped the water gallon bottles for further legal action.
