Rayong announces 17 new confirmed cases of Covid – 19

Rayong –

The Rayong Public Health Office today (April 29th) has announced 17 new confirmed cases of Covid-19.

This makes a total of 498 cases of Covid-19 in the current round of Covid-19, since the start of this recent round of infections in early April.

Of those 17 new cases, 12 were found through contact tracing and in hospitals, and 5 were found through active case-finding in local communities.

Of those 498, 476 are Thais while 22 are foreigners/migrant workers.

Additionally, 117 people in total have now been released from medical care and fully recovered since this current wave began.

The Rayong Governor, Mr. Channa Eiamsang, told the local media, “Thank you to Rayong people for your kind cooperation. Let us support each other to strictly comply with the Covid – 19 measurements.”
