Baby elephant born at Nongnooch Garden in Pattaya, welcomed in an elaborate ceremony

Pattaya –
A healthy baby elephant was born at Nongnooch Garden in Pattaya last week and a ceremony to welcome him was given today.

The Buddhism ceremony for the baby elephant held at Nongnooch Garden Pattaya today was led by the president of Nongnooch Garden Pattaya, Kamphon Tansatja.

The male baby elephant was named by a monk as ‘Bua Khao’ which means a white lotus.

Bua Khao was born on January 31 and was the first elephant born at Nongnooch Garden this year and the 92 of the garden.
