Electric cables catch fire and alarms locals in Pattaya

Pattaya –
Electric cables caught fire on Sukhumwit Road in Pattaya at about midnight yesterday.

The Pattaya City Police was notified of an incident at 12:30AM on Sukhumwit Road 43 in the Pattaya area.

Police, firefighters and rescue workers arrived at the scene to find the fire was already ablaze.

It took about 20 minutes to put out and control the fire. Cables and advertising boards have been damaged.

Electric was being shut off while staffers from the electric authority office were fixing those cables.

The exact cause has not been determined by authorities at this time.
