Sattahip –

A man died after jumping from a boat into the sea this weekend.

The Sattahip Rescue dive team reports that they were notified Sunday Morning this weekend that an unidentified man jumped into the sea near a fish market in Chong Samae San.

Officers from the Royal Thai Navy pulled his body from the water. His remains were taken to a local hospital.

Witnesses say they saw the man jump down from a white boat into the sea. The man was floating in the water before falling beneath the surface. It is unclear if the man owned the boat.

The witnesses stated that they called for help but it was too late. Police are investigating if the cause was an accident or possible suicide.
