Thailand-

The Thai Government has announced they will be holding a helmet wearing video design competition in hopes of improving road safety with specific emphasis on motorbike helmets.

The National Council on Social Welfare of Thailand (NCSWT) made the announcement earlier today and stated that they are very concerned especially with young riders not wearing motorbike helmets in the country.  They stated that according to their data the statistic of deaths on Thailand roads due to lack of helmets is increasing yearly.

Therefore, a competition has been announced for those interested to create short, impactful video clips of two minutes or less on why someone should wear a motorbike helmet. Prizes of up to 100,000 baht will be provided.

You can sign up for the competition here: www.ncswt.or.th by November 30th.
