His Royal Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great (Rama IX) in a Memorial Day event was honoured by officials and residents in Banglamung yesterday (October 13) for a candle lit ceremony.
October 13 has marked the four year anniversary of the passing of His Royal Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great (Rama IX) who passed away on this day, 2016, at the age of 88.

The ceremony was led by The Banglamung District Chief Mr. Amnart Jaroensri, the Pattaya City Deputy Mayor Ronnakit Eakkasing and Banlue Kunlawanich from the private sector as well as area residents.
The ceremony started with attendees paying homage in front of an image of His Royal Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great (Rama IX).
The Banglamung District Chief led the candle-lit ceremony before standing and observing silence for 89 seconds.
Vendors from the Chai Mongkon Market in South Pattaya made an estimated 200 kilograms of rice noodles and gave the food to people on Soi Khao Talo free to commemorate His Royal Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great (Rama IX) yesterday (Oct 13).
