Driver killed after their motorbike collides with pickup truck in Chonburi

Chonburi-

A motorbike driver has died after their motorbike collided with a pickup truck in Mueang Chonburi yesterday.

The Panthong Police was notified of the accident yesterday morning on Sukprayoon Road in Don Huafor.

Emergency responders and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find the body of Mr. Ruengjit Saiboon, 39. He had sustained serious injuries. He was rushed to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Nearby, rescue staff found his damaged motorbike and a pickup truck on the road.

CCTV footage nearby shows that his motorbike was changing the lane to make a U-turn. The pickup truck, which was driving at high speed, crashed into his motorbike. The resulting crash threw Mr. Ruengjit from his vehicle.

The male pickup truck driver, Tanadon Nipapan, 49, waited for police at the scene.

Witnesses nearby told The Pattaya News that there are allegedly many accidents in this area.

However, Panthong police are continuing their investigation for further potential legal action.
