Pattaya –

The Federation of Thai Industries, Chonburi Chapter, has provided 6,000 free rapid Covid-19 Antigen (ATK) test kits for tourism staffers in Pattaya and Banglamung.

The free ATK program has been supported by tourism associations and business industries in Pattaya and Banglamung. The 6,000 free ATK tests are for Thai nationals only who are staffers that work in the tourism business in the Pattaya and Banglamung area, such as hotels, restaurants, entertainment industry, attractions, and retail.

The program is available with a limit of 500 tests per day for a total of 12 days from January 24th to February 4th, 2022, from 11:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Central Marina Pattaya on Second Road. Thai staffers can register for the test via line://app/1656782735-OKPd6k5g? code=HT21869 or walk-in.

The program is part of making sure the Covid-19 situation is better before more tourists arrive through Sandbox and Test & Go schemes in the Pattaya and Banglamung area from February 1st.  Tourism employees, especially in converted “restaurants” that sell alcohol (previously bars and entertainment) are currently required by Chonburi orders to take daily rapid Covid-19 tests before work.
