Thai League football resumes September 12, limited numbers of fans can attend stadium games

Thailand-

Thai league football resumes for the first time in almost seven months September 12 and according to league officials fans will be able to attend games in person.

The Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration, also known as the CCSA, confirmed the news earlier this week. However, as can be expected, there will be Covid-19 prevention oriented rules at the events.

The number of participants will be limited, possibly to as low as 25% according to the CCSA and they will need to be spaced out well apart through stadiums. Additionally, masks will be required as will usage of the Thai Chana (victory in the Thai language) Covid-19 tracing platform. Hand washing stations and temperature checks will also be required at all games.

Football fans have been eagerly anticipating the startup of football in Thailand and tickets with reduced occupancy rates are likely to go very fast for stadium events.
