A bag snatcher has been arrested in Pattaya this week.
The Banglamung Police led by Police Chief Colonel Pattanachai Pamornpiboon revealed the incident to the press.
They have arrested a Thai man, named Kerkrit ‘Golf’ Genroad, 42 from Ayutthaya at a house in Soi Nong Maikan in Nongprue.
The arrest followed after this month police have received many reports that a male suspect on a motorbike had snatched bags from victims.
The suspect reportedly admitted that he snatched a bag from a victim on November 25th in Naklua. He got 2,000 baht.
He also snatched bags more than six other times in Banglamung according to Police. He said he was driving on a motorbike and chose only female victims.
He is facing further legal action from police and remains in custody.
