Banglamung-
A forty year old man was pronounced dead while his fifteen year daughter old sustained serious injuries while going to a school as their motorbike collided with a pickup truck in Banglamung yesterday.
The Banglamung Police were notified of the accident on Friday morning on Road No. 36 (Krating – Rayong).
Police, The Pattaya News and rescue workers arrived at the scene to find a fifteen year old girl who had sustained serious injuries lying on the road. She was taken to a local hospital for medical assistance.
The body of Mr. Manas Jantana, 40 was found on the side of the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident by rescue staff.
A damaged pickup truck and a motorbike were found nearby. The pickup truck driver Mr. Patipan Thitikunraweephong was waiting at the scene. He was uninjured.
Witnesses reportedly told police that Mr. Manas was taking his daughter to school on the motorbike but no one had clearly seen what had happened.
Banglamung Police are continuing their investigation for further legal action.
