The rain isn’t over yet, warns Thai Meteorological Department

Bangkok-

The Thai Meteorological Department has updated their weather forecast for today, following a day of consistent and steady rainfall throughout the Pattaya area yesterday.

They stated that the past several days of wet weather was highly likely to continue for Chonburi, with a seventy percent chance of rain today, primarily in the mid and late evening hours. The daytime hours are expected to be largely dry, but overcast today.

They warned as well that occasional sporadic flooding could take place, which was seen in several parts of Pattaya yesterday throughout the day.

The photos in this article were taken by associated local press in the Pattaya area yesterday afternoon.

The particularly rainy weather is being caused by a Southwest monsoon in the Andaman Sea.
