Giant plastic bottle sea turtle sculpture to encourage waste reduction coming to Jomtien Beach this month

Plastic bottles to be turned into a leather back sea turtle sculpture on Jomtien Beach for Pattaya plastic waste reducing project.

Pattaya officials joined in a meeting about the project on Tuesday, December 3rd. The project is being managed by the Pattaya City, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and the Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited.

The project is aimed to reduce plastic bottles and turn them into a sea turtle sculpture for a new Pattaya land mark.

The mother and baby leather back sea turtle sculpture will be in place at the center of Jomtien beach for six months between December 18 this year to June 18 of next year.
