Family escapes from car fire in Chonburi

Chonburi –
A family has escaped after a sedan caught fire in Mueang Chonburi.

Firefighters were notified of the incident at 9:00PM last night in Baan Suan. The sedan was seen parked on the side of the road in a blaze.

It took about 10 minutes to control the fire. The sedan was totally destroyed.

The driver, 26 year old Kittisak Jitman, said he was coming back from shopping with his wife and kid. The engine had stopped so he could not drive. He got off from the vehicle and opened the hood to check the engine.

Suddenly, a fire had started under the vehicle. His wife and kid immediately ran out from the sedan.

Fire officials are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
