Pattaya man wins first prize in the Thai lottery, 12 million baht

40 year old Mr. Jaturong Srisombatpaiboon, a Pattaya resident, has won first prize in the Thai national lottery yesterday, receiving a prize of 12 million baht.

The Thai lottery is announced twice each month (the 1st and 16th of each month).

Mr Jaturong went to Mueang Chonburi Police Station with the set of two lottery tickets number 812564.

Mr Jaturon said his father liked to buy lottery tickets. His father had always dreamed to win the first prize lottery. He had just passed away at the beginning of this year.

So Mr. Jaturon had started to follow his father by buying lottery tickets. Today he can do what his father had dreamed about. He will give all the money to his mother he said to pay for debts incurred since his father’s death.
