Chonburi announces one new confirmed case of Covid -19

The Chonburi Department of Public Health this morning (January 21st) has announced one new confirmed cases of Covid-19.

Dr. Wichai Thanasopon, the Deputy-Director of the Chonburi Department of Public Health, released the information in a social media statement online.

The new confirmed case is a migrant worker in the Mueang Chonburi district. There are 75 people who have close contact to the patient. The source of infection is being identified and all other migrant workers who are connected to the individual are being quarantined and restricted from exposure to the general public.

Chonburi now has a total 648 confirmed cases of Covid -19.
