A Thai female national, originally from Prayao, was found dead in her room in the Onnut area of Bangkok today, January 14th, for yet unknown reasons, however is presumably involved with ‘K powdered milk’, a notorious street drug, according to police authorities.
Officials from the Prawet Police Station arrived at the scene after being alerted of a death report at a condominium in the Prawet District. The body of a 29-year-old woman, whose name was only revealed as Pannida, was discovered on her bed. No sign of physical abuse, assault, or other crime was observed.
Her family told the police that Pannida previously sought medical treatment for breathing difficulties on January 12th. According to a forensic doctor, she had been dead for eight hours.
Her body was transferred to a hospital for an autopsy. The medics would look for evidence of the Covid-19 coronavirus and narcotic substances, particularly a popular new cocktail drug called K powdered milk, during the search for the cause of death.
It is unclear exactly why authorities have presumed the victim is associated with a recent number of fatalities associated with the deadly street drug growing in popularity around Bangkok.
