Fire guts Si Racha house

Si Racha-

A fire has destroyed a house in Si Racha earlier this week.

The Si Racha Police was notified of the fire at a house in the Surasak sub-district.

Fire fighters with multiple fire engines arrived at the scene to find the fire was ablaze on the second floor of the two story wooden house.

It took about half an hour to put out the fire. The house was totally damaged during the incident.

Neighbours told police that they heard some noise from the house before they realized that the building had caught fire and called for help.

The neighbours claimed no one was at the house as the house owner, Mrs. Sunee Putiwanit, 50, lives in another sub- district in her primary residence.

At this stage, police believe that the fire started from an electric short circuit however were still investigating as of press time.
