Five drug suspects arrested with 1,000 methamphetamine pills at Chonburi rubber plantation

Chonburi-

Five drug suspects have been arrested with 1,000 methamphetamine pills at a rubber plantation in Chonburi earlier this week.

The Bor Thong Police in Chonburi reported that they have arrested five drug suspects at a rubber plantation in Bor Thong this week.

Seized from them were 1,000 methamphetamine pills and some small amounts of crystal methamphetamine.

Police did not report to the press any personal details about the suspects, such as their names or ages.

The arrests came after Bor Thong police received a tip-off that these suspects were allegedly selling drugs to teenagers and rubber tappers in nearby areas.

The Bor Thong police proceeded to conduct a sting operation in which they arrested the five suspects who were, according to the police report, found in possession of the illegal drugs.

They are facing charges of illegal possession of Category 1 Drugs with intent to sell and remain in police custody as of press time.
