Motorbike driver injured after another motorbike allegedly runs red light in Banglamung

Banglamung, Chonburi-

A motorbike driver has sustained injuries after another motorbike reportedly ran a red light in Banglamung yesterday.

Emergency responders were notified of the accident at 2:30 AM yesterday (November 17th) at the Paniet Chang Intersection on Third Road in Nongprue.

They and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find a minorly damaged motorbike on the footpath.

The driver, Mr. Samruay Hinsui, 44, from Roi Et, had sustained moderate head injuries but was cognizant. He was taken to a local hospital.

He told the Pattaya News, “I was passing traffic at the green light when another motorbike run a red light in front of me.”

“I lost control of my vehicle after avoiding the crash. The other driver saw the accident but fled the scene and did not try to assist me.”

Banglamung police are checking CCTV footage at the intersection to find the exact cause of accident and identify the second driver.
