Myanmar driver killed, pedestrian barely escapes injury, after his motorbike crashes into power pole in Chonburi – VIDEO

A Myanmar driver was killed after his motorbike slammed into a power pole in Pan Thong. A second man, a pedestrian, who was nearly hit by the driver escaped injuries.

The Pan Thong Police was notified of the accident last week in the early morning of Friday (November 6th) on Pan Thong – Ban Bueng Road in the Nong Hong sub-district.

Rescue workers and police arrived at the scene to find the body of Mr Waylin Tat, 20, Myanmar national. Nearby they found his heavily damaged motorbike wrapped against a power pole.

Mr. Chatree Santiwanakun, 28, told local press “I was closing the fence in front of my house when the motorbike came flying out of control towards me. Luckily, I was not injured.”

Police believe that speed was a significant factor in the fatal accident.
