Large group of royalist supporters hold rally in Chonburi

Chonburi-

A large group of royalist supporters in Chonburi who dressed in yellow gathered to express their support for the monarchy in Panat Nikhom District yesterday.

Royalist supporters from three districts which were named as Panat Nikhom, Koh Jan and  the Pan Thong district yesterday showed their support for the Thai royal family by displaying photos of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX), King Vajhiralongkorn (Rama X), Queen Mother Sirikit Kitiyakara, mother to Rama 10, and Her Majesty Queen Suthida along with waving national flags.

They paraded around Panat Nikhom city to the Panat Nikhom district office, showing their support for the Monarchy and current establishment.

The Panat Nikhom District Chief Narong Thepsaena welcomed them at the district office to receive a letter from the royalist supporters.

The letter concluded that they love the country and the king.

The royal institution have made many precious things for the Thai nation since the ancient times, according to the group.

They stood together to sang the royal anthem and national anthem.

This comes as increasing pro-democracy protesters and pro-establishment protesters rally across the country in rising political tension between the two groups which have widely different points of views and opinions. The rally was peaceful. A major pro-democracy rally marched to the German Embassy last evening in Bangkok.
