Flying truck wheel damages pickup truck in Chonburi

Chonburi-

A flying truck wheel has damaged a pickup truck on a road in Mueang Chonburi yesterday.

The Mueang Chonburi Police was notified of the incident yesterday afternoon in the Nong Maidang sub-district.

Police arrived at the scene to find the damaged pickup truck. A truck wheel was found inside a gas station nearby. The wheel had come off of a larger truck, hitting the pickup truck and causing significant damage to the vehicle while both were driving. Luckily, neither driver was injured and managed to stop their vehicles safely.

The truck driver who lost the wheel, Mr. Jamikorn Saerum, 23, told police that that he was coming from Bangkok to Samut Prakan. He had no idea how his wheel was loosened and came off, causing the incident.

The pickup truck driver hit by the wheel, Mr. Mueangmon Moonmang, 40, told police that he was going to Pattaya. He tried to escape from the wheel but failed.
