Caddy killed after pickup truck accident on road under repair in Chonburi

A 22 year old golf caddy died after a pickup truck accident on a road under repair near a golf course in Banglamung this afternoon.

Emergency responders were notified of the accident near a golf course in the Pong sub-district.

Police, emergency responders and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find a damaged pickup truck crashed into a tree.

The driver, Ms. Manumart Kaewsrimon, 22, who was a caddy at the golf course, was found unconscious. She was later pronounced dead while being taken to a hospital.

It was reported that the road is being fixed and currently under repair. At this stage Pong police believed that Ms. Manumart was driving at high speed.

She lost control at a sandy curve with some small rocks on the road before crashing into the tree.
