Pattaya-

More details have emerged this morning about this story.

The woman attacked was a Thai woman, not a tourist. She was with a foreign tourist having a coffee when the man attacked her.

The man was allegedly attempting to sell items to the couple from the street and when they politely declined became upset and attacked her, according to her statement to Pattaya Watchdog.

The police and local law enforcement were called but the man had already fled the area.

Police are aware of the incident and searching for the suspect based on CCTV in the area.
