Night Wish Group raises over 600,000 baht to Teacher Boon Choo Home in Sattahip

Pattaya-

The Night Wish Group has donated more than 600,000 baht to Boon choo home for special children earlier this week. The money was given from kind customers, friends, staff and owners of Night Wish Group, including a party where 100% of sales money went directly into one of the boxes.

Mid-week at the closed Exotica Bar Soi 6 off Pattaya Second Road, Founder Bryan Flowers of the Night Wish Group, Gary Vokes, Chompu and Fernando handed over all the boxes from every NWG bar plus La La Land’s box which is an independently owned bar on Soi 6. (and had 32,000 baht inside)

The owner of Boon Choo and her staff them emptied each box and counted the money inside. The total was 640,694 baht said the Teacher Boon choo Muangmaithong who founded and manages Boon choo home for special needs children.

This amount of the donated money is from locked donation boxes at all 29 bars in the Night Wish Group since the beginning of this year. The group was in the middle of a charity drive to attempt to raise over three million baht for the home when the Covid-19 crisis hit, force closing all the bars and temporarily freezing donations.

Many foreigners and customers of the Night Wish Group saw the importance of lending support for these children and they subsequently came together to help them financially.

Teacher Boonchoo told The Pattaya News that this donation really helps in this time of crisis and encourages the staffers at Teacher Boonchoo home.

During the COVID-19 crisis there were fewer donations than before, she added and by Night Wish releasing the total amount raised so far they ensure the children and home are able to weather this crisis.

The Night Wish Group has pledged to continue the campaign when their bars are able to reopen and to reach and hopefully exceed the goal of raising three million for the home.

Teacher Boonchoo home for special children is located at 117/1 Moo 5, Plu Taluang, Sattahip, Chonburi or Tel. 089-8095279 for those who may wish to directly assist them during this time. The Home is closed to visitors during Covid19 but staff can accept donations at the entrance or give bank account information over the phone.
