Motorbike accident injures two in Pattaya

  In the early morning hours of August 28th, 2018, our reporters and police dispatchers were informed of a motorbike accident involving two motorbikes in Central Pattaya.

  Upon arrival at the scene was an unidentified Thai man, about 40-50 years old, lying motionless in the middle of the road surrounded by a crowd. His motorbike, a blue Honda Zoom, lay nearby. Rescue workers and police helped to secure the injured man who was seriously injured and transport him to the hospital. His current condition remains serious. He was not wearing a helmet.

  The driver of the other motorbike, Mr. Boonmee Boonyaiyai, 19 years old, was not injured and was wearing a helmet. He had waited for police and officials to arrive. His younger brother, who was not named due to his age, had injuries to his leg and was also taken to the hospital.

  Mr. Boonmee stated to the Pattaya News that he was driving home with his two brothers (The other brother was uninjured as well)  when the driver of the other motorbike cut in front of him and caused the accident, causing both motorbikes to collide together.

  Police will be investigating CC footage to determine who was at fault.
