Pattaya Driver’s Car Ends Up Perpendicular to Road After Unusual Collision

Pattaya

The car of a 56-year-old hotel staff member ended up perpendicular to a road after a highly unusual crash last night. The victim sustained injuries and miraculously survived the accident.

On February 13th at 11:30 PM, Sawang Boriboon rescue workers responded to a traffic accident near the 119-kilometer marker on Motorway 7 in Pattaya’s Nongprue sub-district of Banglamung district, Chonburi.

Rescuers arrived at the scene and were amazed by the positioning of a white Toyota Fortuner sedan, the rescuers told The Pattaya News. The crumbled car was amazingly perpendicular to the street, with its bottom balanced on an iron pole after the vehicle crashed into something. Stuck inside the wreckage was the victim identified as Mr. Methee Saenyodkham.

The 56-year-old victim was a hotel staffer in Pattaya driving home from work, stated the rescuers. He had sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.

Pattaya Police told The Pattaya News they would review CCTV footage of cameras around the area because nobody witnessed the accident.

The police presumed that the victim might have been exhausted from working and fell asleep at the wheel.

The victim is recovering and remains at a local hospital.
