Motorbike driver killed during hit and run incident in Chonburi

Chonburi-

A motorbike driver has been pronounced dead at the scene after reportedly being ran over during a hit and run incident involving a trailer truck before crashing into a road sign in the Mueang Chonburi district after midnight today (October 31st).

The Mueang Chonburi Police was notified of the accident at 1:00 AM near a U-turn on Set Thakit Road in the Nong Ree sub-district.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the body of Mr. Natchanon Seeharat, 22, from Amnatjaroen.

Nearby, police found the damaged motorbike and the damaged road sign.

A witness, whose name was not given, told rescue workers that a trailer truck crashed into the motorbike before the motorbike slammed into the road sign.

The truck driver immediately fled the scene according to the witness.

Mueang Chonburi police are reviewing CCTV nearby to find the driver of the truck.
