Motorbike driver in coma after crashing into sedan in Pattaya area

Nongprue, Banglamung-

A motorbike driver has sustained serious injuries after crashing into a sedan in Nongprue last night.

Rescue workers were notified of the accident at 9:30 PM last night at an intersection near Soi Khao Talo.

They and The Pattaya News arrived at the scene to find an unidentified female aged around 25 years old, who was unconscious on the road.

Nearby, they found her damaged motorbike and a damaged sedan. The sedan driver, Ms. Linlada Sawameechai, 36, was waiting for police at the scene. She was uninjured.

Ms. Linlada told police, “I was waiting for a red light at the intersection. It was raining when suddenly the motorbike collided into my vehicle at high speed.”

Banglamung police are checking CCTV footage nearby to determine the exact cause of the accident. They are also working on identifying the woman motorbike driver who remains in a coma as of this afternoon.
