Motorbike driver not wearing helmet injured in Si Racha accident

Si Racha-

A motorbike driver who was not wearing a helmet has sustained serious injuries after an accident in Surasak sub-district on Wednesday, according to Surasak police.

Rescue workers were notified of the accident at 4:00 PM on Wednesday on Soi Bokok.

They arrived at the scene to find an unidentified male driver, who was aged around 30 years old. He has sustained serious head injuries and was lying in pain on the road. He was taken to a local hospital for medical assistance.

Rescue workers found a damaged 150cc motorbike nearby. Hair and scratches were found on a nearby electric pole, leading rescue staff to believe that speed was a factor in the accident.

There were no immediate witnesses to the accident, however, Surasak police believe the driver had lost control of his motorbike before colliding with the electric pole. Surasak police are continuing their investigation to find the exact cause of the accident and will review CCTV in the vicinity.
