Heavy rain, wind and potential of isolated flooding in Chonburi today

Chonburi-

The Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) has forecast a rainy two days ahead, especially today for the Chonburi region.

This comes due to a variety of weather related factors as heavy rain, wind and flooding affect large parts of the country, especially the Northern portion. Heavy flooding in multiple provinces took place yesterday and more rain is expected today, according to the TMD.

Chonburi was widely spared from any heavy rain yesterday but spent the majority of the day with overcast skies and sporadic light rain showers.

Local residents should be prepared for the potential of sporadic heavy rain showers and potential of isolated flooding today, especially mid morning and late evening. High surf and winds will also be present throughout the day.
