Five new Covid19 Coronavirus cases in Thailand confirmed, two from prior party and three recently back from Korea

Bangkok-

Five new coronavirus (Covid-19) cases were confirmed on Friday (March 13) by the Thai Public Health Ministry.

The new cases take the total number of infections in the country to 75.

The daily briefing by the Thai Public Health Ministry stated that two of the cases were attendees at a small party with a foreigner from Hong Kong, which brings the total number of people infected from the party to thirteen. The foreigner returned to Hong Kong and two others who were at the party remain under quarantine but are currently asymptomatic.

The other three cases were recent returnees from South Korea.

The Thai Public Health Ministry says there is still no evidence of community spread and Thailand remains in stage two as a country.
