PATTAYA: Deputy Mayor Wuttisak Roemkitjakarn on Thursday met with city officials and partner organizations to plan the Pattaya Halal Festival 2026, scheduled for Dec. 10–13 on Pattaya Beach.
The meeting was held in Room 132 at Pattaya City Hall. Also present were the mayor’s assistant secretary, members of the mayor’s working team, the director of the Tourism and Sports Bureau, and representatives of related agencies.

They were joined by the Satthachon Foundation for Education and Orphans and Yatim TV, led by foundation adviser Phakdi Ma-ae and vice chairman Panya Suwannadee.
Officials said the talks focused on readiness, event format, and activities that would promote Pattaya’s Halal food market and tourism. Organizers want local businesses to take part by offering certified products, food, and services for Thai and international visitors interested in Halal travel and cuisine.

Deputy Mayor Wuttisak stressed venue preparation and event management. He directed agencies to coordinate across departments and survey the beach to assess space, activity layout, visitor access, and safety.
City officials described the festival as another attraction for Pattaya tourism that can expand the Halal market and create more economic opportunities for local operators.
