PATTAYA: Pattaya City, in partnership with the Bharat (India) Association of Chonburi, will hold the 19th Ganesh Chaturthi festival from September 14 to 16, 2026, at the multipurpose area along Pattaya Beach.
Organizers say the three-day event is intended to preserve and promote Indian arts, culture and traditions, deepen public understanding of Hindu ritual and custom, and boost tourism and the local economy.
Officials recently met to review preparations, covering the venue, on-site electrical systems, security, traffic management, ambulances and emergency vehicles, noise control, sanitation, mobile toilets, publicity and visitor services.
Mayor Kritsana Boonsawat directed relevant city agencies and government units to coordinate quickly and complete their assigned tasks so the festival can accommodate residents and tourists safely and leave a positive impression of Pattaya.
City officials said they are working with all sectors to ensure the event runs smoothly and securely while promoting Indian cultural heritage alongside tourism. They described the festival as another opportunity to underline Pattaya’s standing as an international destination open to visitors from around the world.
