SATTAHIP, Chon Buri — A member of the Royal Thai Navy’s Air and Coastal Defense Command (ACDC) helped injured motorists in two separate road accidents on the same day, in what relevant officials described as an example of public-spirited service.
On Aug. 27th, 2026, Petty Officer First Class Phisatchai Sinchai, an assistant instructor in search and rescue at the ACDC Training Center, stopped at both scenes to give first aid and coordinate further medical care.
The first incident occurred at about 7:30 a.m. as he was traveling to work. A car and a motorcycle collided near the monument at kilometer 6 on Sukhumvit Road. Three people were injured: one adult and two schoolchildren. Phisatchai provided first aid and basic wound care, then contacted rescue officers, who transferred the victims safely to Somdech Phra Nangchao Sirikit Hospital.
At about 4:30 p.m., while returning home, he came upon a motorcycle crash in front of Phlu Ta Luang School. Two more students were injured. He again administered first aid immediately and arranged for rescue personnel to take them for further treatment.
Officials said the actions reflected ACDC personnel applying specialized rescue skills to help civilians, in line with the unit’s pledge: “See an incident, be ready to help. See people in distress, do not walk away.”
