Thai rock legend Ad Carabao has expressed his admiration and encouragement for rising star Nene, whose talent has inspired a new generation of young musicians across Thailand.
Behind the scenes at Carabao concerts, Ad revealed, parents often bring their children, sometimes carrying guitars, to meet him and request autographs. He described this as a growing phenomenon fueled by Nene’s popularity and musical ability. “If this is happening backstage at my shows, imagine the overwhelming scene behind hers,” Ad joked warmly.
In a remarkable gesture of support, Ad announced he is personally giving 1 million baht in cash to Nene. The contribution is intended to help cover her travel and expenses as she competes internationally, representing Thailand on a global stage.
Ad stated that his support is not just financial but deeply emotional, calling himself “a small star of encouragement” for Nene as she prepares for the final round of competition. He urged her to “make it truly spectacular for Thailand” and signed off with affection.
