PATTAYA: An anonymous benefactor has donated 100 million baht to Pattaya Patmakhun Hospital in Bang Lamung district, Chon Buri, to fund a new six-storey premium building for outpatient and inpatient care.
The hospital said the gift will be used to construct a facility with about 4,350 square metres of usable space, expanding capacity for both day patients and those requiring admission. The donor asked not to be named.
Hospital director Dr. Wichai Thanasophon received the donation on behalf of the institution, together with doctors, nurses and staff. The hospital expressed its deepest gratitude and said it would respect the donor’s wish for anonymity.
Pattaya Patmakhun Hospital, formerly Bang Lamung Hospital, is a large public general hospital serving Bang Lamung and nearby areas. News of the donation spread quickly online, with many people offering thanks and sharing merit with the unnamed donor.
