BANGKOK, August 23rd, 2026 – Thai tourist police, working with local officers, have located a missing 20-year-old Russian woman who had been reported missing for two days. She was found safe and unharmed in a luxury condominium in Bangkok’s Phetchaburi-Rama area.
Mr. Kirill filed a report at Na Jomtien Police Station stating that his sister, Ms. Anna, had been out of contact since August 21st, 2026. The disappearance caused significant distress for the family.
Tourist Police from Pattaya, in coordination with officers from Na Jomtien Police Station, launched an urgent investigation. Information soon indicated that the young woman had traveled to Bangkok and was staying at a condominium in the Phetchaburi-Rama district.
A team led by Police Lieutenant Colonel Prabda Suksuntree, chief of the Pattaya Tourist Police Station, together with Police Major Phumi Manmueang of Investigation Subdivision 1, Tourist Police Division 1, and supporting officers Second Lieutenant Atsada Charusombat and Second Lieutenant Apisit Phuengyaem, followed the leads and located Ms. Anna.
Authorities confirmed she was residing safely, had not been confined or subjected to any harm, and had simply chosen to stay with friends without immediately informing her family.
Officials noted that the swift response not only eased the family’s anxiety but also showed the commitment of the Royal Thai Police to the safety and well-being of foreign visitors to Thailand.
