CHONBURI, Thailand – August 21st, 2026 – The Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization (PAO) held the “Chonburi PAO United in Care for the People” project on Friday at the Indoor Gymnasium of the Eastern National Sports Center in Chonburi Province. The initiative is to deliver assistance and ease hardships faced by residents in the Banglamung District.
Mr. Witthaya Khunpluem, President of the Chonburi PAO, presided over the opening ceremony. Mr. Phichet Thammaho, Senior District Chief of Banglamung, delivered a welcoming address and outlined local challenges and community needs.
Senior executives and members of the Chonburi PAO Council, heads of government agencies, and representatives from relevant organizations attended the event. Mr. Poramese Ngamphichet, Mayor of Pattaya City, joined with his administrative team in their capacity as local hosts to express support and concern for residents of the Banglamung District.
Key activities included the distribution of scientific materials for preventing and controlling mosquito-borne diseases to health stations and sub-district health promoting hospitals across Banglamung District. Officials also provided livelihood support funds, freshwater fish fingerlings, and plant seedlings to help residents generate income, pursue occupations, and reduce household expenses.
The “Chonburi PAO United in Care for the People” project shows ongoing cooperation among the Chonburi PAO, Pattaya City, local administrative bodies, and government agencies. Organizers expressed their commitment to delivering targeted assistance, listening to public concerns, and finding effective solutions so that residents can benefit comprehensively and maintain more stable livelihoods.
